It seems that a new wave of mysticism is here, with the demand for crystals, tarot cards, and for facts about the different signs of the zodiac growing. To give you an idea, for the latter case alone (facts about the zodiac) there has been an increase in searches of more than 500%. Forecasts also show that the trend is for an increase in demand in these activities, and the market is open not only for those who already identify themselves with mystical tendencies, but also for people who call themselves “spiritual but not religious”. I share with you some opportunities in this area:
Spirituality and Pop Culture: an imaginative mix of these two elements is a great opportunity. From decoration, to clothing, or even creating different tarot decks, there are plenty of ideas to choose from. In addition to tarot and astrology, there is demand for items related to chakras, crystals, or even ancient mythological pantheons such as the Egyptian or Greek.
Spiritual well-being: self-care is a central theme in this new wave of mysticism. Thus, some products that are in keeping with the theme would be well received in today’s market. Products such as bath mixtures, candles, essential oils, and dried herbs could be combined in a monthly subscription, or in differentiated packages for different spiritual purposes.
Technology and apps: although it may seem somewhat contradictory, it was technology that enabled the rebirth of spirituality. Technology can continue to influence the trend, with general astrology apps or even dating apps based on zodiac signs. Social apps for mysticists are also a good bet, as are apps focused on chakras, herbalism or general guides to various topics, from crystals to tarot.
